If you missed the "Battle of the Band", you missed our Marching Wildcat's
"walking by themselves." Ladds
Peebles Stadium was
packed The temperature was high and so was the energy level. Our "Wildcats" received a thunderous applause! One ROTC person who escorted our band, said you had a bus just for the parents... Wow that shows how much the parents support the band! And thank you parents and friends of the band we sold out all of the tickets we had-600. The tickets were selling for $18 at the gate and if you bought them from the band you would have saved $5 a ticket! The band received a small portion of each ticket that we sold. Rich Boy performed to the delight of the crowd... Cupid was also there and sang while some of our Wildcats did the Cupid shuffle on the field-it don't matter if you are young or old.. to the right, to the right!! That was pretty awesome... Props to Cupid for the positive message... Now to put down the keyboard and practice my cupid shuffle!!
