Pensacola's celebrated free outdoor concert series, Evenings in Olde Seville Square, returns for its 21st season of elegant evenings of music under the stars. The 2008 series features 14 concerts, satisfying musical tastes from big band to jazz to reggae each Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., in historic Seville Square in downtown Pensacola.

Evenings kicks off with the popular McGuire's Bagpipe Band marching into Olde Seville Square at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. The Marine Force Reserve Band follows with their repertoire of traditional marches, patriotic music and even some Dixieland jazz from New Orleans.

Since 1988, these music-filled evenings have become a "new" tradition, recreating the popular concerts held in the city's park at the turn of the 19th century. The Pensacola Heritage Foundation has preserved some of Pensacola's most treasured historic sites, including Seville Square, by promoting historic preservation through adaptive use. The Pensacola Heritage Foundation promotes city and community awareness and pride through events such as "Evenings in Old Seville Square."

The complete lineup for the 2008 season includes:

Marine Force Reserve Band and McGuire Bagpipe Band
John Wooten & KAISO! Caribbean Steel Band
Tim Jackson's MR. BIG
