It is amazing to see the growth of the band from the first practice, to playing during the first game, to performing at the Battle of the Bands and the Marching Band Assessment. Each year the band gets better and better. Our hope is that this year will be no exception. A professional is a person who does a good job even when no one is looking. You have to practice the way you will perform. Remember to always come in strong and leave strong. The Marching Wildcats have always had that little extra that sets us apart from other bands. That little extra is what people remember. Photos, photos, photos --- we at theplayingcats.com have lost one of our valuable staff, Monique c/o 2010, rookie camp of '06 on clarinet. She will surely be missed. She did our "prowler cam" and many of the photos on the website. She will continue to help with the website by working on some graphics and photographic retouching when time permits.
